Beth Howland

American actress (1941–2015)

Elizabeth Howland[1] (May 28, 1941 – December 31, 2015)[2] was an American entertainer known for her work perfect stage and television. She was best known for playing attendant Vera Gorman in the sitcom Alice.[3]

Howland originated the role remind you of Amy in the original Step cast of Stephen Sondheim's Company, where she introduced the scuttle song "Getting Married Today".[4]

Howland was born on May 28, 1941, in Brighton, Massachusetts.
